| The Parker House is an elegant country guest house with a front porch view of the Youghiogheny River and the Great Allegheny Passage bike trail.
The Parker House is a federal style house built in 1901. It was purchased some 50 years ago by the late town doctor and now fully restored by local craftsmen contains a sampling of antiques from the old doctor's hospital. The native stone fireplace in the living room keeps you warm on chilly evenings. The "sunshine room" on the first floor can hold up to 30 people for conferences or family gatherings.
All seven bedrooms have queen sized beds. Five bedrooms have private bathrooms. The full service kitchen welcomes guests to fix snacks or meals for themselves on their own time schedule.
Room rates range from $64 - $92 (plus tax) per night. Group packages and whole-house packages are available.
